Their annual Corporate Leadership Award goes to the transportation company for its FedEx Cares program, which invests in communities around the world. In support of these efforts, FedEx has committed to investing $200 million in more than 200 communities by 2020. The award will be presented at the 19th annual Celebration of Service to America Awards, Tuesday, June 20, at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C. The award is given to a business outside of the broadcast industry that exemplifies an extraordinary focus on community service and corporate social responsibility.

“Through its emergency aid and services that cultivate global business, sustainability, and education, FedEx works tirelessly to improve lives in communities around the world,” said NABEF President Marcellus Alexander. “We are pleased to honor FedEx for its continued advancement of commerce and opportunity at home and abroad.”

At the same ceremony, renowned musician and philanthropist Jon Bon Jovi will accept the 2017 NABEF Service to America Leadership Award.
