Hubbard’s WTMX-FM in Chicago is celebrating its 17th year of raising money for the children and families at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. The station raises money for the hospital all week during a radiothon. On Friday, Eric & Kathy will broadcast live from the hospital, which will culminate with a check presentation.
Last year’s radiothon raised more than $1.3 million for the hospital. Since it began in 2000, the Eric & Kathy Radiothon has raised more than $27 million for Lurie Children’s. All money raised during the Radiothon stays in Chicago and will be used for pediatric research, patient care, education, and advocacy efforts.
