Pandora Lost $76 Million In Q2

In Q2, Pandora lost $76 million (before adjustments), compared to a loss of $16 million (before adjustments) in Q2 of 2015. The company expects to lose up to $200 million for the year according to Fortune.

Content costs represented 51% of total revenue in the quarter and headcount was increased by 34%. Pandora had 2,334 employees at the end of the second quarter of 2016, up from 1,746 a year earlier. The company ended the second quarter with $311.3 million in cash and investments compared to $382.5 million at the end of Q1
