Cumulus Brings Albee Back To Radio

Christina Albee has been named Chief Marketing Officer at the company. Albee returns to Cumulus from Flipboard, where she had been Head of Sales Marketing. She previously held sales marketing positions at Condé Nast, Time, and Westwood One.

CEO Mary Berner said, “Christina brings tremendous experience and energy to this critical role. We are delighted that she will apply her considerable skills and talent to the development of new marketing strategies that will facilitate new revenue opportunities throughout our organization.” Albee reports to Westwood One President and Executive VP of Corporate Marketing Suzanne Grimes.

While at Flipboard, Albee established its inhouse creative agency, the Creative Lab, working alongside editorial teams to build sponsorable opportunities for events such as Coachella, the Masters, and the 2016 Olympics. Prior to that, in 2015 as Chief Marketing Officer at Dial Global, Albee was instrumental in its rebranding to Westwood One. While GM of Marketing Solutions at Condé Nast Media Group, Albee led a team of 100 people and worked on accounts such as P&G, Walmart, Samsung, and Chevy.
