iHeartMedia has announced that Bree Wagner has been named the Assistant Program Director and Music Director for KASE 101 and 98.1 KVET, and will assume midday duties at 98.1 KVET in Austin, effective immediately. Wagner takes on these new duties in addition to her current role of Assistant Program Director and Music Director for San Antonio’s KAJA and KRPT, and midday host at KAJA. She will report to Travis Moon, Director of Country Operations for the Central Texas Region and split time between Austin and San Antonio. Wagner has been with iHeartMedia since 2001, when she started her radio career as a part time promotions assistant with KAJA.
“Bree is a rock star air talent and programmer,” said Moon. “Her music passion, knowledge and relationships will only strengthen the brands in Austin and we are excited to expand her role with iHeartMedia.”
