KPCC, Southern California Public Radio, announced on its website that the 15-year host of KPCC’s Morning Edition died from complications from brain cancer. KPCC’s AirTalk host and Julian’s best friend Larry Mantle said, “He was a singular talent. He is completely irreplaceable.”
