KOST 103.5 and morning show personality Ellen K (pictured) announced a partnership, Friday, with Thrive Causemetics, a cosmetics company dedicated to supporting women with cancer. As part of the partnership, KOST 103.5 and Thrive Causemetics will offer female listeners undergoing cancer treatment complimentary makeovers to improve their confidence and self-esteem.

KOST 103.5’s Meaningful Makeovers campaign launched with seven-year old Taylor, a Make-A-Wish child from the Orange County and Inland Empire chapter, who is living with Ewing’s sarcoma and wished to become a pop singer.  Earlier this month she was surprised by the KOST 103.5 Meaningful Makeover Squad, who provided make-up services and styling for her Parenting OC magazine cover shoot (click here for photo).  Taylor joined Ellen K at KOST 103.5’s studio this morning to talk about her inspirational journey and to premiere her song on the radio for the first time.

Karissa Bodner, founder and CEO of Thrive Causemetics, said, “We are thrilled to join KOST and Ellen K in providing our products and makeovers to these women.  This partnership allows us to expand our impact and help more women feel good during such a difficult time.”
