In a 20-page court filing, there are a lot of denials by Todd Clem (Bubba The Love Sponge) in the lawsuit he’s facing from Nielsen for alleged ratings tampering. Clem admits to having a friendship with a cooperating panelist but denies he gave the panelist specific instructions on what to do. Clem’s filing was made after Nielsen amended its complaint against the shock jock in which it provided more specifics (text messages) of what the ratings firm claims Clem did to cheat. Here’s one example of Clem’s response: “Defendants deny any plot to distort ratings and further deny knowledge that Defendant Clem’s actions were prohibited and knowledge that all concerned were at great risk.” Read the full filing HERE.
