Radio is all about presenting ideas to clients. What are you doing to incorporate your clients into the Super Bowl that generates revenue for the station? We came across this idea that Butterfinger came up with and just had to share. You just never know what it will spark in the creative minds out in radioland.

When NFL players celebrate too much after a touchdown, the league steps in and fines that player, despite the fact most fans enjoy the celebrations. As part of its “Bolder Than Super Bowl” campaign, Butterfinger will cover up to $50,000 in excessive celebration fines levied against any NFL players this weekend and in the Super Bowl. The Nestle brand has even tapped one of the best at celebrating in the end zone, Terrell Owens, to help promote the campaign. One of his famous celebrations was pulling a sharpie out of his uniform and signing the ball after scoring a touchdown. The NFL is not happy with this promotion but it’s sure to receive a lot of attention.
