National sales rose 5% in 3rd quarter, though local revenue dropped 2%. For the month, national figures dropped 1%, and local dropped 3%, compared to September 2005.
August 2006 Radio Revenues
Combined national and local revenues increased 1% during the month, compared to the same month a year ago. Year-to-date, national dollars grew 2% from January through August 2006, and local revenue was down by 2%.
July 2006 Radio Revenues
In comparison to July 2005, national sales do 5% jump for the month, while local figures go down 2%. Non-spot sales were up 12%.
June 2006 Radio Revenues
Non-spot revenue jumped 17% this June over same month in 2005. Local dollars were down 1%, and national sales were up 1% for the month. Grand total spot and non-spot revenue for the second quarter of 2006 was down 1% against Q2 2005.
May 2006 Radio Revenues
Combined revenues up 1% for May, though year-to-date is down 1%.
April 2006 Radio Revenues
National figures dip 7% in April compared to April 2005, but earlier 2006 spurts brighten year-to-date figures.

In month-to-month comparison, national revenue increased 1%, local sales dipped 2%, and non-spot revenue grew 5% in March. Year to date, though, Q1 combined national/local sales fell 1%, compared to same quarter 2005.

National revenues continue climb, but local sales still struggle, dropping 3% below the same 2005 month.

National ad sales jumpstart the year with a 6% increase above January 2005. Non-spot revenue even better: 10%.

2005 revenues remained flat, compared with 2004's. Local ad sales up 1%; national sales down 2%; non-spot dollars down 1%.

Radio revenues topped the $20 billion mark in 2004 with a total increase in spot and non-spot dollars of 2 percent over last year. Total spot and non-spot dollars dipped 1 percent when compared to December of 2003; local ad sales were down 1 percent for December 2004 compared to the same month the previous year.
November 2004 Radio Revenues
Radio revenues were up both nationally and locally, with total combined spot and non-spot dollars up 4 percent vs. November 2003.
October 2004 Radio Revenues
October was a split decision, with local dollars down 1 percent while national dollars were up 6 percent vs. October 2003.
September 2004 Radio revenues
Combined local and national ad dollars were up 4 percent for the month vs. September 2003.
August 2004 Radio Revenues
Total ad dollars dropped 1 percent on flat local revenue and a 5 percent dip in national revenue vs. August 2003.
July 2004 Radio Revenues
Local revenue remained flat while national dollars dropped, causing an overall dip of 3 percent.
June 2004 Radio Revenues
A 4 percent gain in local ad dollars led to a 3 percent overall increase vs. June 2003.
