KXXM-FM (96.1 NOW) San Antonio host Russell Rush has died. We reported last week that Rush had been in home hospice care following a lengthy battle with t-cell lymphoma. Rush was 44.
Mike Miller To Oversee 7 Stations Now
iHeartMedia in Central PA has announced that Mike Miller is the new Vice President of Programming for Harrisburg and Lancaster. The cluster has seven stations. Miller will also be responsible for daily programming duties at Bob 94.9 and Real 99.3.
Cole to Allentown
iHeartMedia Allentown announced Friday that Derrick Cole has been named Program Director for WAEB-FM (B-104). Cole joins the Allentown market from iHeartMedia’s National Program Group, where he most recently served as the CHR PD.
Zytle Slides Into LA
Cumulus has hired Aaron Zytle as the new PD for Country radio station 96.1 KYKZ-FM in Lake Charles, LA. Zytle will also host the morning show on the station.

Cox Media Group has hired Raymond Hernandez to oversee WOEX-FM (Exitos 96.5) in Orlando. Hernandez will oversee the day-to-day programming bringing his 30 years experience as one of the top Spanish Programmers in America to the sunshine state.
