Country Radio Broadcasters has revealed its lineup for the CRS 2023 New Faces of Country Music Show. The event will be held in March and feature performances by Priscilla Block, Jackson Dean, Frank Ray, Jelly Roll, and Nate Smith.

Audacy's classic hits station WCBS (101.1 FM) has re-named its on-air studio after morning host Scott Shannon. Shannon is retiring on Friday after spending more than eight years at WCBS, capping a decades-long career in radio.

A cast member of the syndicated Bob & Tom Show was the victim of an attempted homicide over the weekend, according to a local television report. Ron Sexton was targeted by a gunman who fired at least nine times into his rental car.

Charlotte-based news-talk station WBT (1110 AM, 99.3 FM) collected more than 800 bikes for local children during an annual event. The station and its staff partnered with a local television station to collect the bikes at the Kids First store.
KBOI Breaks Record for Toy Drive
Boise news-talk station KBOI (670 AM, 93.1 FM) broke a record during its annual toy drive with the U.S. Marine Corps. The charity event, Idaho's largest Toy Drive, saw more than 15,000 toys donated and an additional $45,000 in cash.
