This half-baked technology is DOA. Struble admitted that the tests were based on old data. Even if true, a paltry 5db increase would make little difference, and there would be compromises somewhere else.

Struble is not an engineer but someone sitting on half an idea and in fear that he might lose a little more of his position if he helps the industry as a whole. This works, I'm invested in it and the computers runs make anyone who rejects it out of hand look like a fool....or a mercenary. Pray this works as Brana has demonstrated because HD with Struble and Ibiquity selfishly trying to block advancement is DEAD on arrival.

Both Radio World and Inside Radio have reportd that Struble dismissed the idea. LOL!

Excellent news. The annoying thing about HD Radio is that so many stations are not broadcasting it with sufficient power so there are drop outs.

They've solved the content issue and can now compete against Pandora and XM-Sirius, now they have to both increase power and use more sensitive receivers.

This is a game changer!

If this works it will be a game changer, but hopefully it won't stop existing HD stations from increasing their transmit power to the maximum allowable level.

Another reputable source reported that Struble doesn't think it would make any difference.
