Additionally, the real crime here is that Sheryl Crow makes money on her awful screeching.

No, Steve, you probably don't listen to US radio because your too stupid to operate a radio. This has nothing to do with politics or race, nor are the comments indicating as such. This is all about personal responsibility, not about the legitimacy of bailing out banks. The woman squandered her money and now she's broke whether she's black, white, asian, greek, arab, or whatever species you are.

@Syl: Don't look now but your racism's showing.

@Bruce McLaird: "That's what happens when you live beyond your means and don't pay your taxes."

Yeah, unless you're a "too big to fail" bank, then you get bailed out to the tune of billions of dollars.

Hate speech like I see in these comments it one reason why I don't listen to American radio: it's full of bigots.

Another loser from Whitney Houston's family who lived high and spent more than they made. Radio made her rich and she squandered it all, then blames the benefactor.

Well then, let me pull all of Dionne Warwick's music from my station's playlist. Wait, I don't play Dionne Warwick or practically any other station in America. Well played Sheryl.

Why don't we just read between the lines - I'm Sheryl Crow and don't sell albums any longer. Please pay me to play my music. Thanks radio for significantly helping make my career in the mid 90's, but screw you now.

That's what happens when you live beyond your means and don't pay your taxes.

Here's a link to an article with her income/expenses per month.

If we could all live that well...

Dionne Warwick 2002:'I personally think that European audiences are more loyal,' she said, sipping from a bottle of Snapple behind a desk in the office. 'In the States we are very spoiled, there is such an abundance of everything that there is no complete loyalty as there is with audiences in other parts of the world.'

typical out of touch free spending artists who we have to be responsible for. artists make too much money on the backs of hard working Americans!
