A reflection of corporate America in general. The philosophy used to be "Take care of your employees and they'll take care of you." Not anymore.

A shining example of what is wrong with radio management - starve the talent and pay the wranglers. In addition to homogenized music choices and lack of creativity, lack of investment in talent is why kids are rejecting radio for the Internet. Have you seen what that did to newspapers?
The main thing radio can offer is a talented presentation of music that matters - if you are trying to best Pandora with bland music and presentation, you may as well turn your transmitter off.

As a business owner I always say: financial rewards follow accomplishment, they do not proceed the accomplishment. People hear what you say but they watch what you do. Thank you for exposing such actions.

Service the debt. Service the management. Ignore the products and services. Is there just a smidge of an industry-wide pattern here...?

My guess is this company wont make it another year. Stock is in the toilet bad, their stations all stink and the executives are grabbing big dollars - all a bad sign.
