Of course, it could not have been Ed Schultz who called Laura Ingraham a "slut" and wished Dick Cheney would die, already. No, those remarks were not outrageous or any cause of advertiser discomfort. It's difficult to believe just how ignorant some of the people who have commented here can be. Or, is it just more of the same media bias that we already are forced to swallow by national news outlets. Anyone here have a problem with Bill Maher and what he says? No ads, so no problem?

None of the hosts you mentioned, including Rush, are Dial Global people. DG hosts are Ed Schultz, Dennis Miller, Bill Press, Neal Boortz, Stephanie Miller and Thom Hartmann.

He's talking about Rush. Some syndicated takers (Rush, Savage, Beck, Malloy, Press) salt the earth behind them with irresponsible and outrageous comments that damage the entire brand of talk radio. I noticed that Rushs' comments in March ended up bringing him a huge Spring book - but at what cost? What good is a program that scores numbers if your sales staff can't sell it because of advertiser resistance?

They hurt the format more than they help.

Who's the nationally syndicated talker they're referring to?!
