(1/11/02) Westwood One To Syndicate Focus On Racing Radio Nationally. Longtime Memphis motorsports show Focus On Racing Radio will go into national sydication on Feb. 15 with Westwood One. Co-hosts of the one-hour show are Speed Channel mortorsports journalist Bob Varsha and racing champion and producer Billy Edwards. The show's interview/preview format covers all major motorsports sanctioning bodies. Senior Executive Producer Ron Martin will continue his 17-year guidance. Varsha will broadcast from varied racing venues, while Edwards holds down the Detroit bureau. The show will be sent to Memphis flagship WMC-SportsPlus 790 for mixing, and then on to Westwood One, where it will be put on satellite for stations to retrieve.
