Sander Elected Chairman Of BMI Board NEW YORK -- September 26, 2007: Former Belo Corp. Vice Chairman Jack Sander has been elected Chairman of BMI's board of directors. He succeeds Cecil Walker, who becomes Presiding Director and remains on the BMI board.
Sander has been a member of BMI's board since 2002 and was Vice Chairman from 2006-2007. He will serve a three-year term as Chairman.
Sander has been serving as a Senior Advisor at Belo Corp. since his retirement; earlier in his career he served as Belo's Vice Chairman, President/Media Operations, and EVP/Television Group.
