Casey Kasem's Daughter Denied Conservatorship

That's according to E! Online. Judge Lesley Green said the "clear and convincing evidence we have now is that he is receiving, depending on who you talk to, good to excellent care" at his home. Kasem's wife Jean filed papers that said her husband's three adult children from his first marriage had "single-handedly and irreparably shattered the lives of their father, his wife and youngest daughter, the calm of their home and their neighborhood by engaging in uncalled for public demonstrations and personal attacks in the media. They are doing so with a professionally orchestrated media and legal campaign that has disgraced their father and vilified their stepmother."

TMZ is reporting that Kasem's wife Jean asked the kids if they would drop their lawsuit for a conservatorship if she were to give the kids the right to visit their dad. However, each child would have separate visits every third Sunday for one hour and a security guard would always be in the general vicinity; and the kids would have to give 72 hours notice before each visit. The kids could also visit during Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas week, Easter week and his birthday. TMZ reports the kids have rejected the offer. Kasem has advanced Parkinson's disease and his children say they have not been permitted to see their Dad.
