More from the BIA/Kelsey report which says location targeted mobile advertising revenue will increase from $2.9 billion in 2013 to $10.8 billion in 2017, accounting for 52 percent of overall U.S. mobile ad spending in 2017. Location targeted mobile advertising helps consumers find products and services where and when they want them. This evolving, and relatively new form of marketing, allows advertisers to deliver campaigns based on location, as well as age, gender, interests, time of day, and weather.
