Andrew (Drew) Marcus is founder and managing partner of Sugarloaf Rock Capital, LLC, which manages SLRC Media Opportunities Fund. Marcus departed Deutsche Bank in 2008 after 16 years as vice chairman of global banking focusing on media and telecommunications. He was previously managing director, global head of media research at Deutsche Bank and senior media analyst. Marcus joined Alex. Brown Inc. in 1992 as a founder of its Media Group, which was subsequently acquired by Deutsche Bank. Before that he was in the Media and Technology Research Group at Kidder, Peabody. Marcus has been involved in nearly 200 banking transactions in the broadcasting, outdoor, and entertainment sectors, valued at over $100 billion.
Bill Drewry serves as a managing in the Communications, Media, and Entertainment Group of RBC Capital Markets. Before joining RBC, he served as an operating partner and chairman of media investments at Diamond Castle Holdings. He has also served as managing director in the Global Media Group of UBS Securities. Before UBS, he served as Global Head of Media Equity Research at Credit Suisse. Drewry was a No. 1-ranked analyst in Institutional Investor, Greenwich Associates, and the Reuters analyst rankings over 10 times in a 10-year period from 1997 to 2006.
Blair Faulstich is a managing director at Providence Equity Capital Markets based in the New York office. Providence Equity Capital Markets manages several credit funds that opportunistically provide capital to companies throughout the media, communications and technology industries. Before joining Providence in 2011, Faulstich spent 15 years as an investment banker primarily covering the broadcasting sector at Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, and Alex. Brown.
