At Least 8 People Bumped From "The Big List."
Some big changes in radio power have caused our most popular list to shake a bit. As they say, change is good. At least 8 people have been bumped out of power and have fallen off the list. That, of course means, at least 8 fresh faces will appear in 2013. Think you can identify those who no longer wield any power in the radio business from the 2012 list? The 2013 Radio Ink 40 Most Powerful issue will be available digitally on July 15th. To order Radio Ink in time to receive you very own personal copy of Radio Ink in the mail, GO HERE. In the meantime, we'll keep the power debate going so you know who's really running radio.

This just another attempt by Radio Ink to make itself seem important by pandering to readers' lesser selves. Who gives a rat's petootie?

I am saddened by your choice of focus. Why diminsh your efforts by creating focus on who has been bumped and who no longer wields power. Often it seems RI finds itself on both sides of the fence. One side cheering for radio, on the other side cheering it's demise. I would appreciate your focus remain on accurate journalism, Like recognizing the COO from Entravision accurately on your cover! What a sad gaff on your part. Had a chance to honor someone and typo'd his career! Wipe that smile off your face and get serious about the business! Leave the snarkiness to the rock jocks

The lack of commentary on this article may be telling. Perhaps the issue is less about who has power and more about who has the most positive and worthwhile influence.
I'm not suggesting the list of such candidates is all that impressive, either.
