Salem Predicts 5-7% Revenue Growth in Q1. Modest Gains Made in Q4 of 2010.

For the first quarter of 2011, Salem is projecting total revenue to increase 5% to 7% over first quarter 2010 total revenue of $48.3 million. Q4 Salem came out with Q4 and full 2010 results that showed small gains on the radio side. Net broadcast revenue increased 2.8% to $44.5 million from $43.3 million in Q4. Same station net broadcast revenue increased 2.6% to $44.2 million from $43.1 million. For 2010 net broadcast revenue increased 1.7% to $174.9 million from $172.1 million. Same station net broadcast revenue increased 1.5% to $173.8 million from $171.3 million.

Salem provides programming targeted at audiences interested in Christian and family-themed radio content. Upon completion of all announced transactions, the company will own and/or operate 95 radio stations in 37 markets, including 59 stations in 22 of the top 25 markets. They also program the Family Talk Christian-themed talk format on SiriusXM.
