Clear Channel Radio Promotes Rick Baran as EVP/Chief Financial Officer.

Baran will oversee all financial and administrative operations for Clear Channel Radio as well as oversee the CCR Strategic Initiatives Office and its Business Affairs division. He will be part of the companys senior management team and report directly to Clear Channel Radio President and CEO John Hogan.

We have a very aggressive business strategy, including accelerating the development and growth of the next generation of Clear Channels popular and successful iHeartRadio digital products. Rick will help ensure we lead the way in providing an unparalleled radio experience to all our audiences and on every platform.

Ricks track record is one of strong financial leadership in the media and entertainment sector, and he has the experience, the skills, and the relationships we need to take Clear Channel Radio to the next level, said Hogan. We have a very aggressive business strategy, including accelerating the development and growth of the next generation of Clear Channels popular and successful iHeartRadio digital products. Rick will help ensure we lead the way in providing an unparalleled radio experience to all our audiences and on every platform.

Baran, who has been with Clear Channel since 2010, previously served as Senior Vice President of Finance Operations for the companys corporate office. He joined Clear Channel from CBS Corporation, where his tenure included serving as Executive Vice President and CFO for CBS TV Stations, responsible for the financial performance and tactical execution of all CBS-owned and operated stations.

Im looking forward to my new role at Clear Channel Radio as the company moves quickly to seize opportunities in the digital radio space while maintaining its strong leadership position in radio, Baran said.
