Trial of Former WRKO Boston Host Reese Hopkins Starts in New York City
The host who called himself the "Crossover Negro" on the air is accused of sexually abusing two 11-year-old girls in 2004 and raping one of them. One of the girls was the daughter of another radio personality. The attorney for Hopkins says the charges are false. Lawyers for both sides made opening statements Tuesday in Hopkins’ trial in Manhattan.
