KZNS-AM/Salt Lake Adds FM Simulcast
February 1, 2011: Simmons Media Group is now simulcasting Sports KZNS-AM (The Zone)/Salt Lake City on clustermate KYLZ, blowing out the former Triple A "Point" programming on the FM. The Zone is also heard on KOVO-AM and an FM translator at 92.9 in Utah County.
Zone PD and afternoon co-host Jake Scott said, "The FM side of the dial is the next frontier for Sports radio, and we are thrilled to be the first and only Sports station in Utah to make that dynamic move."
The Zone features a live and local daytime lineup, including Hans and OC in mornings and The Gordon Monson Show with Jake Scott in afternoon drive.
