How Is iHeartRadio Doing?

The app that allows listeners to tune in to all of iHeart’s radio stations, curated stations, and podcasts for free now has over 100 million registered users and 1.5 billion downloads and upgrades. Seventy-five percent of all listening to iHeartRadio is now done on mobile. So what about iHeartRadio’s two new paid subscription services? Here’s what CFO Richard Bressler had to say about those.

The iHeart CFO said iHeartRadio Plus and iHeartRadio All Access are right in line with expectations. While he would not give specific paid subscription numbers, Bressler did say the financial impact is not significant. He describes the services as new products for listeners. “Our business is not entirely based on this streaming service. It’s an add-on. We feel great about the service.”
