Conner worked in the radio broadcasting industry for over 47 years in markets including Chicago, Atlanta, Memphis, Augusta, Houston, and Columbus, GA. In 2016, he retired from Davis Broadcasting as the VP of Operations after 20 years with the company. Davis Broadcasting President and CEO Greg Davis Sr. said, “Carl was not only widely respected in the industry, but I also considered him a close friend and he will truly be missed. He genuinely cared about people and loved what he did.”
