Five radio identities have been named by the Arizona Broadcasters Association in ABA’s 28th Annual Hall of Fame class. The 2017 inductees, who were chosen based on their outstanding contributions to broadcast journalism, are Jan D’Atri, Bob Davies, Steve Goddard, Allen Kath, and Michael Owens.

“Only twice before have we inducted a group of five,” ABA President and CEO Art Brooks said. “But we simply couldn’t narrow the list any further. All five of these honorees represent the best in Arizona broadcasting.”

About the 2017 Hall of Fame inductees:

• Jan D’Atri has hosted Phoenix Cooks with Jan D’Atri, Saturdays 3-5 p.m. (Arizona Time) on NEWSTALK 550 KFYI for 13 years.
• Bob Davies – is a broadcasting veteran whose assignments include weatherman, host, narrator, commentator, rodeo announcer, Fiesta Bowl parade emcee, Program Director, and finally Vice President.
