U.S. District Judge James Whittemore has set Todd Clem’s ratings-tampering trial for the term in Tampa that begins January 2, 2018. The discovery cut-off date is August 10 and a pre-trial conference will be held December 8. Of course, anything can happen, such as a settlement; before then, however, neither side has given any indication that this case can be worked out in mediation. It’s unclear as of yet whether this will be a jury trial or if Judge Whittemore will hear the case as a non-jury trial.
