Wedel Software is on the hunt for the new face of our North American business! We’re looking for someone who fits with our dynamic and entrepreneurial spirit, someone who loves media as much as we do and can help us achieve our ambitious targets for the region.
Could it be you?
Are you energetic and motivated, able to work independently and efficiently manage your own sales pipeline? Do you have at least seven years of experience in either technical R&D or sales within media (with extra points for experience with Traffic and Billing software and contacts within the radio industry)? Then it’s already looking good.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be the heading up sales for North America, with the mandate to manage existing accounts and grow the business throughout the region. Depending on how things go, you may eventually be recruiting and managing a wider sales team. If so, you’ll be able use your experience of leading and managing to first find the right people, and then help them to develop in their role.
You know the importance of building personal relationships with customers, so once you’ve wowed them with your presentation, you’ll work on creating a strong connection and maintaining good contact. Our product is developed using the feedback of customers, so understanding how they experience using our software is vital.
And with such a large region to cover it’s no surprise there’ll be some travel – prepare for around 25-50% of your time.
