The 7th Annual Meggan Morency Wild West Night, recently held at Alligator Ron Bergeron’s Green Glades Ranch in Weston, Florida, was attended by over 700 people; $80,000 was raised, which will go to equine-assisted activities and therapy programs at Bit-By-Bit Medical Therapeutic Riding Center. The event is held in memory of Meggan Morency who died tragically in 2003, at 17, from injuries sustained while competing in a local equestrian event.

Beaseley Media Group was a part of the event.

“We’re grateful for the support the Meggan Morency Wild West Night receives from our community as it continues making a huge difference in the lives of those able to utilize the Bit-By-Bit resources. Meggan would be so proud of the work that has been done, and our family is honored by both the event’s tremendous growth and its impact on children and adults with special needs,” said Bob Morency, Meggan’s father and Market Manager for Beasley Media Group’s South Florida radio stations 740 AM WSBR, 1470 AM WWNN, and 980 AM WHSR.

A performance by Jerrod Niemann was a highlight of the event
