News Radio 610, Manchester’s News Traffic and Weather radio station, and News Radio 96.7, Portsmouth’s News Traffic and Weather radio station, held the third annual “Make 12 Hours Count” radiothon. When it was over, the grand total raised was almost $140,000 to benefit Veterans Count, an organization that provides financial assistance and resources to New Hampshire veterans, service members, and their families to ensure their dignity, health and overall wellbeing. The broadcast took place Wednesday, March 22 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and was hosted by New Hampshire Today on-air personality Jack Heath.

“I was proud to be the host of the third annual Make 12 Hours Count radiothon to help servicemen and women from our community,” said Heath. “In the past three years, the radiothon has raised over $400,000 thanks to the generosity of our listeners.”

“The effort that our listeners and sponsors put into this event is truly remarkable,” said Joe Graham, Market President for iHeartMedia New Hampshire. “It’s great to see the New Hampshire community come together to help our local veterans.”
