Next Wednesday, at the Radio Ink Hispanic Radio Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Entravision’s Angie Balderas will host a panel called “Old School/New School: Bridging the Gap between Gen X Managers and Millennial Sellers.” These two groups have different ways of doing things, they are motivated differently, and they have very different ideas about marketing and selling radio. Next Wednesday, it will all be on the table for managers to hear and learn.

Balderas tells Radio Ink, “My panel will focus on millennials. They are now the largest generational demographic group they will not only be a majority workforce in less than 5 years, they will be clients too! Its time to get our head out of the sand and deal with that reality.”

Joining Angie on the panel will be:
– Georgia Beasley, Director of Digital Sales, Beasley Media Group-SWFL (Ft. Myers)
– Gerardo Martinez, General Manager, Lazer Broadcasting/Sacramento, Modesto & Merced
– Eric Garcia, SBS Radio Revenue Chief & VP/General Manager, WSKQ & WPAT, New York
– John Hesano, SVP/Director of Sales, Katz Digital Group & KRG Partnerships

About the conference overall, Balderas adds, “If you are in the Spanish Radio industry there is no single conference dedicated to our industry such as this one. Attendees will take away the latest sales strategies, management tools as well as the latest in programming trends, focused on Spanish radio.”
