Rob Scorpio (pictured) has been named Senior VP of Programming for the San Diego/Riverside region, and Kid Jay is the new PD for KGGI-FM in Riverside. Currently, Scorpio oversees iHeartRadio’s six stations in Riverside/San Bernadino, while also acting as PD for KSSX-FM in San Diego and KGGI-FM in Riverside. Kid Jay joined KGGI-FM in 2003 and is currently the station’s nighttime host. Jay will continue his on-air role at KGGI-FM while also assuming day-to-day programming operations of the station.

Scorpio brings more than 15 years of radio industry experience to his new position. As Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Riverside/San Bernadino region, he managed multiple formats, including CHR, Rock, Spanish, News-Talk, and Sports. Prior to joining iHeartMedia in 2013, Scorpio worked as a media consultant and served as Operations Manager in Washington DC, and Vice President of Programming in Los Angeles, CA, for various radio groups. Scorpio has also programmed top stations in Washington, DC, Los Angeles, CA, and Houston, TX.
