Paul Burton joins the Adams Radio Group as VP and GM for its Salisbury-Ocean City, MD, cluster. Adams CEO Ron Stone said, “It is rare that you get an opportunity to partner with someone that literally can change your life. I have spent the past several months as the interim GM while searching for the right person to lead our organization in Delmarva. Paul is that person. His excitement and commitment to excellence is second to none.” Burton replaces Cheryl Salamone who left in September.
Burton started his radio career in 1987 in Baltimore with WCBM-AM. Later, he worked for WBAL-AM and Radio One. In 2002, he and his wife Wendy relocated to Ocean City, MD. Burton comes to Adams from iHeartMadio where he served as VP of Sales in Salisbury until last October. He joined iHeartMedia as an AE and was promoted to LSM shortly after. In 2015, Burton became Senior Vice President of Sales.
