It was certainly a quiet exit for one of radio’s most well-liked executives. Not to mention he’s probably one of the funniest people that ever walked the halls of a radio convention. Valle confirmed to Radio Ink he’s been gone from the company for several months now. Valle switched roles in June from running radio at Univision to President of Political & Advocacy Sales. Here’s what he told us last night.
“I had a wonderful run at Univision. I’m thankful for the many opportunities, experience and learnings. I’m especially thankful for Randy Falco, who was more than my CEO — he was my friend, coach, and mentor. But most of all, I’m thankful for the connections and friendships I made with the wonderful people that represent the UCI brand on a day-to-day basis. From the corporate team and the GMs to the local folks that are the heart and soul of that organization — you will never find a more loyal or loving group.”
