On August 10, 2016, the FCC adopted a Second Report and Order that completed the 2010 and 2014 Quadrennial Reviews of the media ownership rules. On December 1, 2016, several companies filed petitions for reconsideration of the Order, including the NAB and Connoisseur. The original deadline for oppostiion to the order was January 17, 2017, with replies due January 24. The FCC has extended the deadline for opposition to January 24, with replies now due February 4.
