It’s the giving season, and radio just keeps on giving. This time it’s Alpha Media Mason City, Iowa, raising $32,000 for Children’s Miracle Network with a radiothon, November 16-17. Mason City’s Kids Helping Kids campaign played a big role — the campaign encourages local schools to fundraise and contribute to the radiothon, while also teaching them the importance of giving back to the community.
Alpha Media Operations Director and Program Director, Jared Allen, said, “We are pleased to once again raise this amount of money for such a great cause! It’s always great to help these kids, especially with the holidays coming up. Our Kids Helping Kids campaign grows every year. It’s so great to see all these kids giving back to such a wonderful cause.”
