The Portland station raised the bonanza for Union Gospel Mission on November 17 at the Skype Live Studio. The amount raised equates to over 51,400 meals for the city’s homeless.
Alpha Media Executive VP of Programming, Scott Mahalick said, “We are proud to be able to use the power of live and local radio to help serve the community in such a meaningful way.”
“I found the KINK team to be energetic and supportive as they mobilized their loyal audience to impact the hungry, homeless, and poor with their tremendous generosity. More than 51,400 meals and care were provided by KINK listeners,” said Bill Russell, Executive Director at Union Gospel Mission.
