iHeartMedia West Palm Beach says that Rich Dickerson will retire from The Love Doctors on December 16. The Love Doctors airs afternoons on WZZR-FM Real Radio 94.3. Dickerson launched The Love Doctors in 1991 on WZZR-FM after hosting an earlier incarnation of the show on iHeartMedia Rock station WKGR-FM.

The Love Doctors team will celebrate Dickerson’s career during his final month on-air with special guests, show highlights, and listener surprises. After December 16, current Love Doctors co-hosts Dr. Glenn Curtis, Dano, and Lea will continue hosting the weekday afternoon program.

“After doing this show for 25 years, I’ve decided it was time to hang up the headphones,” Dickerson said. “Though I’ll miss my time on air, I know that Glenn, Dano, and Lea will continue with the compelling insight, irreverence, and cutting edge humor that The Love Doctors has been giving the Treasure Coast for over two decades.”
