Noalmark Broadcasting Corp. of El Dorado has closed a $600,000 deal to buy two El Dorado radio stations, KDMS-AM and KLBQ-FM, from El Dorado Broadcasting Co., owned by Edward R. Partridge. Noalmark now owns eight stations along with two others in Magnolia (KVMA-AM and KVMZ-FM), about 35 miles away. Noalmark already owned KAGL-FM, KMRX-FM, KMLK-FM, KIXB-FM, KELD-FM and KELD-FM. The stations run the gamut from classic rock and urban contemporary to sports and news talk. The purchase came in the wake of Noalmark’s decision to sell four Hot Springs stations in March: KLAZ-FM, KYRC-FM, KHRK-FM and KBHS-AM. Central Arkansas Radio Group, headed by Greg Shinn, bought the stations for $1.6 million.

“With our 40-year history of broadcasting excellence in south Arkansas, the addition of these stations will allow us to even better serve our local community, customers and listeners,” said President William C. Nolan Nolan in a news release.
