Swift Asks Judge To Seal Pictures In Groping Case

Taylor Swift wants to cut off public access to the intimate details of a 2013 incident where she claims former KYGO Denver host David “Jackson” Mueller (pictured here) groped her at a concert during a backstage meet-and-greet.

Swift’s motion says, “The public dissemination of this evidence will likely have nothing to do with the public’s interest in the court’s decision-making process. Rather, it will be driven by the prurient interests related to the facts alleged in this case.” The Denver Post reports Swift’s motion claims her privacy outweighs the public’s interest in disclosure. The Post reports that the motion states, “Exhibit 14 is extremely personal and sensitive in nature and should not be shared with the public until absolutely necessary (at trial).”

Swift claims Mueller reached under her skirt, and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will and without her permission, while they posed for a photograph. Mueller claims a colleague groped Swift, not him. He filed a lawsuit against Swift claiming he was fired from his job and banned from Swift concerts for life based on false allegations about the incident.
