And it’s not the iHeartRadio Music Festival party we’re referring to. KPLV-FM’s Party format is history. iHeart flipped the station from a Top 40 format called “The Party” to an Adult Hits format called “The Mountain.” The new format will feature songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s.
iHeart will move David Black from Colorado Springs’ Z 107.9 air staff and he will be known as “Mountain Man Dave” as he hosts throughout the day for the new format. KPLV’s on-air talent will all remain in Las Vegas. Roxy Romeo will now move to on-air with Las Vegas’ REAL 103.9 and Johiah Hall will now be the morning show producer for Las Vegas’ Sunny 106.5.
