Mike Marino, who was afternoon drive host from 2013 until early this year, returns to afternoons with a new three-year contract. Marino most recently produced The Jeff & Jenn Show with Jeff Dauler and Jenn Hobby during its launch.
Marino said, “As I transition back to afternoons, helping to launch The Jeff & Jenn Show was a career highlight for me, and it’s just one of the many exciting things happening at Star 94.1 right now. A big thank you to Mike Fowler, Tony Lorino, and Pat Paxton for the continued support, and for having the confidence in me to drive Atlanta home every afternoon.”
Also, JP Allen has joined The Jeff & Jenn Show Star 94.1 as Show Director. Allen has served as interim show director and is now stepping into the role full time. The Jeff & Jenn Show launched in early March. Allen has worked in radio in Southern Illinois, Chicago, and Philadelphia before coming to Atlanta to work with Star 94.1’s Drex, Cassiday, and Tingle show.
Kelly “Cheese” Cheesborough has joined The Jeff & Jenn Show full-time as Executive Producer. Cheese began as an assistant producer when the show launched in March, and has quickly established herself as a key part of the team.
