Unlike the fairytale, this time The Wolf is giving out the goodies. On Saturday, JVC’s Orlando Country station 103.1 The Wolf is hosting a “BBQ 4 The Blue,” a free picnic to show support for Central Florida law enforcement officers and their families. The picnic will be run by community and radio station volunteers with food, entertainments, and tenting donated by local businesses.
WOTW Program Director Len Shackelford said, “103.1 The Wolf proudly supports the brave men and women in law enforcement locally and across this great country who protect us day in and day out. BBQ 4 The Blue is a wonderful way to bring together our local heroes and families for a down-home backyard picnic.”
WOTW General Manager Chris Ganoudis added, “We have to thank the City of Ocoee and Mayor Rusty Johnson for helping us host BBQ 4 The Blue – they are great partners and immediately offered the use of Lakeshore Center Park for this non-profit event. We know our community will wrap their arms around law enforcement and come together to show support for all they do for us.”
