iHeartRadio announced Monday a new update to their iHeartRadio for Auto app featuring two new integrations with MirrorLink® RockScout and Drivemode. The partnership with MirrorLink’s RockScout gives Android users access to all the best of the iHeartRadio app, with favorites like live broadcast radio, custom artist stations, saved “My Stations,” and personalized “For You” recommendations, through their car’s dashboard. Meanwhile, Drivemode addresses the distracted-driving problem by providing a safe platform for smartphone use through their intuitive gesture technology and voice response. The free Android app works in any car audio system through bluetooth or auxiliary cable, eliminating the need for an expensive car stereo upgrade.
