It’s a new News and Information format for WYGC 104.9FM in Gainesville-Ocala, FL. JVC is calling it “104.9 The Talk of Gainesville.” The station will feature local news, weather, traffic, Imus in the Morning, and Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade. 104.9 was previously a Classic Hits format which JVC moved to a bigger signal on 100.9.
104.9 The Talk of Gainesville will be locally programmed to allow our community to discuss issues important to Gainesville residents,” says WYGC Program Director and JVC Media Vice President Matthew Goldapper. “104.9 The Talk of Gainesville will focus on Gainesville news and issues, weather, traffic, and sports. The addition of the great Dom Imus in mornings and Brian Kilmeade’s Kilmeade and Friends in middays will help give the market an outstanding outlet for exciting and different opinions.”
