On May 2, Entercom CEO David Field announced, “It was a terrific quarter,” when he reported first-quarter earnings to investors and analysts. Same station Q1 revenue increased 6% over 2015 as the company turned in its 4th consecutive quarter of growth. Field said the good news was a direct result of the company building strong local radio brands with compelling personalities and content, and his team doing an excellent job executing the game plan. Wednesday morning at 10, Field will report Q2 results, so we’ll see if the company can keep the ball rolling.
