NPR Switching to Triton For Streaming

NPR Digital Services will start using Triton Digital for streaming later this year. Stations were informed of the change last week, according to The Current. NPR uses Limelight to stream and began using Triton for podcast advertising earlier this year. The e-mail to stations stated that NPR evaluated its streaming platform for a year and a half and found that stations had “high levels of frustration with the reliability of the service as well as its ability to help stations monetize their streams.
